used-notebook-source.com offers a minimum 6 Months warranty on all laptops, unless otherwise
specified. Warranty is from the date of the purchase. Warranty includes repairs,
exchanges and credits within the specified warranty period as stated on your
original invoice.
Some of our refurbished laptops still have up to 1 year remaining factory warranty. You can find out from our web
page, whether the laptop computer you intend to buy is under the manufacturer or the used-notebook-source.com warranty.
If you encounter a problem with an item that carries a manufacturer warranty,
you must call the manufacturer for all warranty claims. Don't forget to register
on the manufacturer's web page as a new owner, if you purchase a used laptop from
us with remaining Factory Warranty. (Some manufacturers require 30 days to
process your product registration.)
When you load your own operating system you are responsible for loading
the proper software that is needed to operate any peripherals attached to the
laptop, unless otherwise specified at the time of purchase. The proper software
includes the operating system and any other software/drivers needed to operate the
computer and its peripherals.
used-notebook-source.com will repair or replace laptops returned to our facility. To
request warranty service, you must call used-notebook-source.com within the warranty
period. If warranty service is required, used-notebook-source.com will issue a Return
Material Authorization (RMA) Number.
Please, prepay shipping charges, and insure the laptop to the value that you
paid or accept the risk of loss or damage during shipment. used-notebook-source.com will ship
the repaired or replacement products back to you freight prepaid. Please mark the
RMA # clearly on the outside of the box! The RMA# is very important for us! If
the returned laptop can't be identified with the RMA# your shipment will be
refused.
Once your laptop is received, it will be evaluated and tested for the specific
problem you described. It is at used-notebook-source.com's option whether we repair or
replace the laptop. used-notebook-source.com stands behind its products 100% and will make
every effort to provide complete customer satisfaction. All malfunctioning
merchandise will be repaired or replaced but no refund will be issued if the
defect can be solved.
Most problems are solved over the phone, but sometimes we cannot verify that a
laptop is working without seeing it. When you call our RMA department and one of
our representatives issues you an RMA number, the representative must be assured
that you are attempting to solve the problem with the solutions given, before the
laptop is returned. We are sure that you wouldn't intentionally send a laptop back
under warranty that was working fine, but sometimes we get back laptops
that test fully functional. Please help us, by describing the
problem in detail!
